Il "Monte Conero" e' una montagna alta 572 mt., unico promontorio
lungo la costa adriatica tra Trieste
ed il Gargano.
Il Conero ed il territorio limitrofo fanno parte dell' omonimo
parco regionale e nazionale la cui flora e
fauna, di grande bellezza ed importanza, sono conosciuti in Italia
e fuori.
Le "Due Sorelle"sono due grandi scogli "faraglioni" simbolo della
riviera del Conero visibili sulle tante foto
grafie e cartoline. Andando dal parcheggio verso la cache passerete
alla vs. destra un lungo muro, attraverso le
si gode di una bellissima vista su paesino di Sirolo e la
costa.
Entrando dall' arco vi troverete in uno spiazzo, alla sinistra l'
ex-convento, prima dei Benedettini poi dei Camal-
dolesi, costruito interamente in pietra del Conero, oggi sala
banchetti, alla destra un' altra parte dell' ex-
convento da anni albergo e di fronte la chiesetta di "San Pietro al
Conero" di data antecedente il 1037. Se aperta
vale la pena di una visita. Dallo spiazzo girate a sinistra,
passando praticamente sul retro della "sala banchetti"
dell' albergo, iniziando la breve passeggiata verso la cache,
passando attraverso un vecchio cancello in ferro.
Dopo +- 5 min. noterete alla vs. sinistra un parapetto in ferro. da
li' avrete una delle poche vedute sulle "Due Sorelle"
proprio sotto di voi. Per trovare la cache non serve sporgersi ne'
valicare il parapetto.
De "Monte Conero" is een 572 mt. hoge berg, de enige langs de
Adriatische kust van Triest tot aan de Gargano. De
Conero en zijn omgeving zijn een nationaal en regionaal natuur
park, bekend om zijn natuur-waarde en schoonheid.
De "Due Sorelle" zijn twee bijzondere rots-punten in zee, die het
symbool zijn van de "Riviera del Conero", en op
veel foto's te zien zijn.
Vanaf de parkeer-plaats op weg naar de cache, passer je een lange
muur rechts, door de openingen geniet je van het
uitzicht op Sirolo en de kust. Eenmaal door de boog bevind men zich
op een pleintje, links een ex-klooster, eerst
van de Benedettijnen later van de Camaldolesi orde, geheel in steen
van de Conero opgetrokken, nu restaurant. Rechts een ander gedeelte
van het klooster al jaren luxe hotel, recht vooruit het "San Pietro
al Conero"kerkje van voor 1037.
Als deze open is, is het de moeite van bezichtigen zeker waard.
Vanaf het pleintje ga je links af, achter het restaurant
gedeeltelangs een eenmaal door een oud ijzeren hekwerk begin je de
wandeling naar de cache. Na ca. 5 min. zie je links een stalen hek,
met vandaar uit een uniek uitzicht op de "Due Sorelle" direkt
beneden in zee.
Om de cache te vinden is het niet nodig de paden te
verlaten.
The "Monte Conero" is a 572 mt. high mountain, the only one
along the adreatic coast between Trieste and the Gargano.
Monte Conero and its surroundings are a national and regional
nature park which flora and fauna are known for its beauty through
the hole of Italy.
The "Due Sorelle" are two conspicious rocks, the symbol of the
"Riviera del Conero"and can be seen on many fotographs.
From the parking lot on the road to the cache you'll pass, on the
right, a wall, look throug it to see the beautifull town
of Sirolo and the coast. Going through the arch you'll be on a
small square. On the left is the ex-convent, first of the
Benedettini than the Camaldolesi order, now a restaurant, on the
right the other part of the convent now an hotel and in front of
you the little "San Pietro al Conero" church, dated before
1037.
Turn left on the little square, around the ex-convent-restaurant,
pass an old iron gate and start the little walk to
the cache. After abouth 5 min. look on the left and enjoy the
beautifull view through the iron gate of the "Due Sorelle"
down below in the sea.
To find the cache you don't need to leave the path.
