The cache is roughly a mile in the woods, but not too far off the main two track road itself. The most difficult part of the hike is getting off two track and finding the cache.
The road to walk on is on the Gay-Lake Linden Road. If you are heading towards Gay, then the road will be on your left hand side. Look for a road with a red gate. You know you will be at the right spot when you see another private lot/camp across the road from the gate.
You won't be able to drive down this two track road, but you can park your vehicle at the gate. The road will not be hard to follow, but it tends to branch off in different directions at various points about 3/4 of the way in. Also to confirm you are on the right road, you will cross a timber and concrete bridge about a half mile in. The road is fairly hard packed, but it does have a few mud holes at certain spots. This area is popular for hunters especially during the firearm season, so be careful. Wear orange to be safe!
The cache is a clear plastic container with a screw top. The theme for this cache is too see how much foreign money it can collect. Coins, bills, or anything of that nature are welcome. I included 4 non-circulated Iraqi Dinars from the Saddam Huessein era that I got while I was in Iraq. You will find one Russian note as well. I also included a handmade keychain made by my cousin who makes custom jewelry.
Finally I placed a tracking bug in it and it is taped to the underside of the containers lid. Good luck finding it and enjoy!
