Geocache Description:

Adopted from PLMerry to keep this 2008 hide going.

Except for being at ground level, and possibly out of reach from a wheel chair, this cache is handicap assessable.

The cache is on the western edge of Oak Grove Cemetery and Arboretum in Delaware, OH. The cache is a small medicine bottle that will hold only small trade items and micro GeoCoins. There is no writing utensil in the cache so bring your own.

Please take the time to visit the memorial for veterans of the US military services. The individuals buried within this section of the cemetery are all prior members of the US military services. My daughter, while an Air force Cadet her freshman year, served under Chief Master Sargent Richard Halsell, who is interned close to the cache, a little to the north. The idea for this cache came while attending his service here in August 2008.

The front gate is open from 8:00am till dusk, but the cemetery does not close. There is room to park, but the cache is a long walk away after dark. I have roamed with Cozmo, my geodog, throughout the cemetery during all hours of the day and night. Cozmo played with his first skunk one night not more than 150 yards from the cache.
