Situated outside the town of Stranocum on the Livery Road. The cache can be approached from either the Gracehill road or the Ballinlea road and parking waypoints are provided for each approach.
If approaching by car - use the Ballinlea Road.
If approaching by jeep ,four wheel drive you may use either way in .
The Gracehill road approach has some deep potholes so be careful if you use this approach.
It is possible to drive across the river at this point but I recomend that you turn and leave by the way you came to the cache .If you decide to ford the river you do so entirely at your own risk and I accept no responsibility for any loss or damage. As with all caches near water be careful with kids. If you would like a longer walk walk out from your parking spot to the Gracehill road turn left. At the Fivey road turn right and walk to the end where you turn left at the war memorial down through the village . Over the bridge and take the first road on the left which will bring you back to your car.
Don't make the mistake of thinking this is a quick cache and dash - for a quiet out of the way spot there can be a lot of muggles about - beware.
