Geocache Description:

Saint Eidin established a convent at Tumna in the 6th century, where the river Shannon meets Drumharlow Lake.

Every year in early July, locals gather at Tumna graveyard to hold a prayer service in honour of the saint.

The name "Tumna" comes from the Gaelic phrase "Tuaim-mna", meaning "The Tomb of the Woman".

There is parking available at the coordinates below, and the walk to the cache, which is a small tablock box, is less than ten minutes. The route can get a little muddy on occasion, so decent footwear is advised.
