This cache is very easy although GPS reception might be a tad hazy around ground zero. Be careful of the TWO beehives, the nearest about 15 metres away. DO NOT look in the holes where the bees are as the cache is NOT in a tree.
weroamin lived and worked in Cumnock as the local Policeman from 1981 to 1989 and raised four kids, two of whom attended the local school. Cumnock is a very community minded town and rural district. In the mid 1800s is was known as The Crossroads, being renamed Cumnock after a similar locality in Scotland.
Enjoy the hospitality of the Royal Hotel or a chat in the local store. The Cumnock Show society offer camping, with clean modern facilities, at a very affordable price.
The cache is a small screw top plastic bottle with some small swaps and log book. It does have two pencils but it is always wise to bring your own pen.
