Geocache Description:

A simple child friendly multi cache on Gover Road field. Flat terrain but can be uneven in places and a bit muddy. Nettles and some thorns at the cache site.

Due to the need to move 'Wolf Tackles' from Hanham Mount we wanted to replace it locally. Our six year old Zeldarian chose the name but there are no current sightings of wolves on this field. Unfortunately we never even got off the ground with the first site chosen (before it was muggled)so we have had to re-work it from the second waypoint. You are searching for a cache cylinder (otherwise known as a beaker from Wilkinsons).

Go to the posted coordinates. There is parking nearby on Gover Road.

Once at the given coordinates answer the following questions:

How many swings are there? Call the answer A.

What colour are the gates? How many letters in the word? Call the answer B.

Now work out the coordinates for waypoint 2:

N 51 2 B . A 0 7
W 002 (B-3) 0. (A+3) (B+2) (B-A-1).

Once you are there you will find something you would never want to be inside! There are three numbers on it - call them CDE and find the next waypoint using this:

N 51 C (D+E) . E (C+D) (C+D+E+1)

W 002 (A-1) (D-E-C) . (B+1) (C+D+E+1) (D+E+1)

This will take you to a post with two signs on it.

How many arrows are there on the top sign? Call the answer X

What are the last two words on the green sign? How many letters in each? - call the answers Y and Z.

Solve this and find the cache!

N 51 (Z-1) (Y+X) . D Y Z

W 002 Z (D-E-C) . (Y+1) X E

The coordinates take you to a point on the path (it can be very muddy) and the cache is a few paces off the path.

There is a bench fairly near the cache - sit down to have a rummage through the box, relax and think how nice it would be to have a horse called Epona to ride around the field on.

Please note that the original contents of the cache are all animal related please try and make animal swaps and if possible wolf ones!

We hope you enjoy this - we really like this area!
