Geocache Description:

Morden has many beautiful parks sprinkled throughout town. Milne Park is a small park with a few park benches. There is no playground equipment at this park. Charles C Milne and his wife Margaret came to Morden around 1895 where he served as police magistrate from 1920 to 1942. Mr. Milne was a charter member of the Morden Horticultural Society and a life Member of the Manitoba Horticultural Society. Planting trees on Thornhill St. and the development of this park were two of his interests. In 2000, as a millenium gift to the community, Dr. John Friesen and Dr. Earl Lautenschlager, Optomitrists, provided financial support to enhance Milne Park. Additional plantings and furnishings have created a pleasant approach to the Stephen St. and downtown business district, as well as a rest area for the residents.
This is not a muggle free area. Bring your own writing instrument.
