Geocache Description:

I made the terrain 1.5 because the cache is located in the grass near a slope so it may be harder for a person in a wheelchair. Please don't park in the driveway near the coordinates, it is my neighbors. If you have gone past the drainage ditch or to the yellow house you have gone to far. It is in the yard of the white house with brick trim.

Feel free to pick up the cache and take it to you car to look through if you dont like standing in the yard to look. Just put it back like you found it please. It is located near the edge of the yard so you wont have to go very far into the yard to find it.
Replacing the cache lid may be alittle tricky. You can snap down only one or two spots and it will seal but still be easier for the next person to open.
If you want a hike you can park at the city park in the center of town and walk the 5 blocks to the cache. It is a nice little park that has swing sets, a slide and some other fun things for kids to play on. You can park across the street or next to the cache just try not to make to many tire ruts if you can.

This cache is named Homemade Ridge because I wanted to encourage fellow cachers to leave homemade items. It could be anything from a bookmark the kids made to something that you craft for a living. You can even put your name or business card on the item if you like.

Of course you dont have to leave a homemade item. Anything will do just fine. The whole point is to have FUN!

I have also included a little coin and bug treasure box in the cache. Please put any bugs or coins in this to keep them from getting lost somewhere at the bottom of the container.
