65th Birthday Cache Traditional Cache

Small L&L placed about 700 meters from the gate on Maple Mountain at the end of Chilco Rd in Crofton.
This cache is just an easy walk on a gradual uphill trail. There is no need to come up from the end the road to the camp. Read the long description. GO IN FROM THIS TRAIL----IT IS MUCH EASIER!!!
As a 65th birthday present my brother gave me this cache to place. He has filled this to the brim with everything that a small lock and lock could hold.

Rain Bonnet (to keep the rain of a bald head-like mine)
Compass keychain (to find your way home)
Glow sticks (in case you are afraid of the dark)
Canadian keychain (in case you forget what country you are in)
Brass padlock with keys (to lock up your valuables).
Pirate notebook (to write scary notes)
Batteries (GPS food--or to power a pacemaker)
Logbook and pencil ( to write your life story--or use as a logbook.)
I retired a few years ago from the Crofton P&P mill and it is appropriate that this hike will give you a slight view of the mill and the waters between there and Saltspring Island.
This is an easy walk that should take less than an hour round trip. I've given it a two for the distance, not that it is at all difficult. Stay on the right hand or uphill trail on the way in.
I can no longer look after this cache, old age has taken it's toll, so if anyone wants to adopt this cache, go ahead. Thanks. Dunworley.
