Geocache Description:


An easy cache near one of Cherokee County's historic structures. Possum Trot School, is a one room school house that was built in 1880. The school was restored in 1969. The school is furnished similar to how it would have been in the 19th century. The school house is for public viewing although the structure is locked, the public is welcome to walk around the grounds and take photos. NOTE: The cache IS NOT located at the school building! Please USE the parking coordiates. Do not drive on the grass. Small cache container. Bring your own pen.
