Geocache Description:

This cache is located within Fort Harrison State Park in Indianapolis, IN. During the busy season, the normal Indiana State Park entry fees will apply.

Does a picnic at Fort Harrison State Park sound inviting? Well…here is the deal. You provide the food and I will provide the food containers….cache style.

You are looking for a Peanut Butter Jar inside of a camo’d Bush Baked Beans can. There has been an attempt to make this cache “critter proof”…if that is possible. The cache was designed and built by Forthound. I provided the camo job. Let me know what you think of this cache design.

Try to replace the cache container with the open end slopping downward so that water will not collect in the can. Otherwise, I may have to go back out and drill some holes in the closed end to let any collected water drain. Hummm, I may do that any way. In the meantime, help me out and try to place the open end of the container facing down.

This is an easy walk along a paved trail, except for the last 200 feet or so. The easiest approach, with the least bushwhacking, will be from the South side of the Harrison Trace Trail Loop. It is just a little more than ¼ mile hike from the parking lot at Delaware Lake. Because of the distance I am rating the Terrain as a 2.

At the time of placement I was getting about a 15 foot accuracy reading, with the tree cover. You should not have any trouble finding this cache. In fact, there is no hint at this time. After all, how hard can it be to find a Peanut Butter Jar inside a Bush Baked Beans Can?

There is a small FTF Prize…it may pay for your gas to the park…IF YOU DON’T LIVE TOO FAR AWAY !!!
