the waters end Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ravision: After an 8 Year run... I was told by another geocacher that they had seen "muggle children/kids" messing with and taking out everything out of the cache. I tried to reject that and kept on placing and replacing the waters end. This was one of my first few geocaches placed. But its time to send the water on down the creek. I was driving home and saw some of those muggle children/kids/preteens/teens stop their bikes and go right to the location of where the cache had been (before I took it down and before someone stole the container) and start checking all the tops of the posts. I then knew that they knew where the cache was and that it was time to let this one go. I have been asked by the geocaching community to keep this around because it is a "awesome" container and location, however I am not going to keep spending the time and effort to keep replacing the container when these kids know exactly where to look and are muggleing it. SO until I can come up with a new container and location. I lay to rest the waters end. It has been a great run. Thanks for all those who visited the cache and those who continue to visit my caches.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to the waters end. the waters end resides where the open waters of the Howard Slough fall into a subterranean complex of pipes.

This cache is a sister cache to “piped in (GC1H1ME)” This cache is open to "peering eyes" so stealth is required to keep this cache from uninterested subjects. This should be a somewhat easy find, if you pay attention to your gps coordinates (which I have tried to make as accurate as possible). The actual cache is inside another container. If you're careful; watching for muggles walking/driving by, this cache should be one of great enjoyment for all.

I’ve tried to place some“high-end” geoswagg in this cache, lets keep it this way. With fair trading we all can enjoy this great sport/game.

This is a great cache for trading/moving travel bugs and geocoins.

The OriginalContents of the Cache are as Follows:

New Micro Cache Canister (buffalo tube) – for the FTF (first to find) take it and place it well.
Flexable Laser Light (with magnetic base) – great for travel bugs.
Custom Log Book – Georules included.
Mechanical Pencil– for signing the log.
Bottle Holder with Carabiner – great for travel bugs or for taking a drink of water on the geocaching trail.

Many thanks to the geocachers who have uploaded photographs:
