The Old Navy Cache celebrates my 100th cache placement. This is a simple two stage cache. The first stage of this quick multi, will fit in with some of the Old Navy theme caches.
There are a couple of ways grab all the caches in this area, which are all along the Beacon Hill red blazed trail loop. There is about a 200 foot elevation change from the base to the top of the Watnong Mountain, I would recommend a hiking stick.
1. Less challenging - take the Beacon Hill red trail to the right at the trail head for a gradual hike up the mountain.
2. Challenging - take the beacon steep steps straight up the mountain and access the red trail at the mountain top.
3. Slightly challenging and scenic hike - take the Beacon Hill red trail to the left at the trail head.
NOTE: Google maps shows some roads in the mountains near the cache area which do not exist. Use the parking lot on Mountain Way. N40 50.800 W74 29.800
The trailhead is across the road from the parking lot, follow the small trail into the woods.
