This flash mob event is part of a much larger effort by
geocachers around the world. At 1pm, EST, other World Wide Flash
Mob (WWFM) events in across the country and around the world will
occur. Come and be a part of this epic event.
If you haven't participated in a WWFM event before, you're in
for a treat! We'll meet at the posted coordinates and participate
in a little kooky behavior, then promptly disassemble.
12:30 -12:59 pm - Participants: Find parking, (suggested parking
and location of event wrap-up: N41 03.062 W75 18.811) and then find
your way to a location where you're within sight of the posted
coordinates; wait patiently and/or stroll around the area. STAY
AWAY from ground zero until the signal is given. As much as you
can, act like a muggle, pretend not to know each other or give any
indication that something is about to happen. At 12:59pm converge
on ground zero. The Flash Mob Event has begun.
1pm - a signal will sound... then "FREEZE!" For five minutes,
don't move, talk, etc., just stay frozen in place. (Be sure to plan
ahead what position you'll assume for the full five minutes. Bring
your family and friends to participate with us. Be creative! We'll
be shooting video of this portion of the event and the reactions of
the muggles will undoubtedly be priceless!)
1:05PM - A signal sounds, and everyone immediately resumes
normal life, gets a log sheet to fill out, and finds their way via
various paths back to the suggested parking coordinates.
1:10PM - EVENT WRAPUP: Back at the suggested parking
coordinates, drop your log ticket in the box. Assemble for a group
photo. Trade stories, discover trackables. Make plans to join in
group caching if you wish. Note: you must come and drop your
filled-out log ticket in the box in order to log your
attendance.
1:15 PM The event is over.
