Geocache Description:

A micro placed at a nice little corner of Mottram in Longdendale. Take a moment to look at some of the things that commemorate the local area.

The cache is placed near a statue of L.S Lowry. I am no art expert but like most people who live locally I am aware of his work. My mother used to point out the house where he lived when we were on the way to the dentist. The house is called The Elms and is only 100 yards further down Stalybridge Road.
