Inkyfiller: Thank you to all the folks who have found this cache. As you know, Inkyfiller passed away in 2016 and I am no longer living in the area. I cannot maintain these caches, so, as they become problematic, I will begin archiving them. They have had a good run and this will make room for other new caches. It has been great fun reading your discovery logs. Now go out and find some more!

Geocache Description:

This cache is a tribute to the pioneers of Eastern Ontario. The posted coordinates will bring you to a small cemetary.

Often as we drive down a Concession road we pass by small cemeteries that by the shape and conditions of the markers are very old and now longer being used by the communities that once surrounded them. The posted coordinates will bring you to the entrance to one of these final resting places.

Find the required markers and do the math, and you will be able to determine the resting place of the cache. Take a few moments, and imagine the area as it must have been when these folks were the community.

1/ Find the tombstone of the late William McMillan
A/ in what year did he pass away? And at what age was he?

Add these 2 numbers together and divide by 2. From the result subtract 988.

The result will be the three missing digits of the North coordinate. 45.16. XXX

2/ Find the tombstone of the late Duncan McLeod
A/ in what year did he pass away?
Find the tombstone of the late Roderick McLeod
A/ in what year did he pass away
B/ He is buried with his son. What year did his son pass away?

Add the 3 dates together and subtract 5335 from that result.
The result will be the three missing digits from the West coordinate 074.31.XXX
