The night of November 2, 1985 saw heavy rain. The stream that was nearby flooded its banks and when the morning came, the residents noticed that the church had been carried away. Instead of rebuilding on the same site, they decided to move to higher ground. Today the church is located north along Rte. 259 of the foundation of the old church.
Cache is located at the original foundation of the Riverside United Methodist Church
