Geocache Description:

Thanks to Zeke the Peak for moving my poor muggled ammo can with a compact little bison. The new coords are about 85 ft from the old. This cache is reachable only by boat.

You are now paddling on the Wild and Scenic Loxahatchee River that flows in to Jonathan Dickinson State Park. While this property is owned by South Florida Water Management District, it is managed by Jonathan Dickinson State Park. This is one of only 2 ways to legally enter the park. The other being the main entrance off of US 1 in Hobe Sound. While on the river you may see many fascinating and exciting things such as alligators, turtles and some nice spiders. Unfortunately, you may also see bottles, cans and other assorted litter. That’s why we ask that you “pack in and pack out” as well as refrain from drinking alcohol or camping along the banks of the river. It’s a beautiful place! Thanks for helping keep it clean!
