Bad Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

CoyoteTrust: On my trek here today I was able to walk across an entirely dry wetland which this cache overlooks; thus I'm sure high-water was never a problem this year in pushing this cache out from its hiding spot. Based on past logs -- including my last maintenance visit about not leaving the cache out in the open as found -- I'm convinced some non-cacher type knows about it, has finally realized their destiny as a loser, and has ultimately decided to take it. BTW I've noted ATV tracks thru this area; so even without definitive proof, I'll make the connection that an illegal-riding ATVer took the cache. I will not replace it.

I kind of appreciate the fact that this area is once again cache-less, and aside from the evidence of ATV's, I can still appreciate the area as a quiet place of reflection. It's Bad, in a good way.

Thanks to all visitors.

This area was cache-less and that was OK. I like exploring the area as it helps me think about things. The cache is named after one of my favorite U2 songs which, to me, says a lot about life. I won't try to explain it; it's just one of those things. See ya'.

"If you twist and turn away.
It you tear yourself in two again.
If I could, yes I would
If I could, I would let it go.
Surrender, dislocate.

If I could throw this lifeless life-line to the wind.
Leave this heart of clay,
see you walk, walk away
Into the night, and through the rain
Into the half light
and through the flame.

If I could through myself, set your spirit free
I'd lead your heart away, see you break, break away
Into the light and to the day.

To let it go and so to find a way.
To let it go and so find a way.
I'm wide awake.
I'm wide awake, wide awake.
I'm not sleeping.

If you should ask, then maybe
They'd tell you what I would say
True colours fly in blue and black
Blue silken sky and burning flag.
Colours crash, collide in blood-shot eyes.

If I could, you know I would
If I could, I would let it go.

This desperation, dislocation
Separation, condemnation
Revelation, in temptation
Isolation, desolation.

Let it go and so to find a way.
To let it go and so to find a way.
To let it go and so to find a way.

I'm wide awake, I'm wide awake, wide awake
I'm not sleeping.
No, no, no."
