Generally a nice and easy park and grab cache.
The container is a small lock-n-lock and contains a log, pencil, small trade items and a Green Jeep TB for the FTF. Good one for the kids, relatively easy. Please replace the cache just as you found it for future cachers to find.
The land for this 6.6-acre park, located on the northwest side off of Scales Bend Road, was donated by Fox Run developer Clair Mekota in the spring of 2002. In 2003 and 2004, Parks Department collaborated with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (www.iowadnr.com) to obtain 3,000 bluegills and channel catfish and 340 largemouth bass to stock the pond. Fishing is available, but swimming or floating in the pond is not allowed.
