Take Glendale Road from Rte. 9 about ¾ mile to this state owned launch site and parking area. Canoe and kayak owners might prefer to launch on the beach across the road and travel south on the Schroon River; it’s about a 4 mile paddle to the Starbuckville Dam.
If you are passing through the area, you’ll need to drive through Pottersville to find your ramp to get back on the Northway – follow the signs.
