Drive by Memorial Cache

This is a Memorial Site to the 3rd July 1963 NAC Aircrash of flight 441 while on its flight from Auckland to Tauranga. The actual site of the crash is 9 kms NE from this site.' The aircraft was a DC 3 Skyliner ZK AYZ There was a loss of life of 3 Crew and 20 passengers. This was at the time the worst airline accident in NZ's aviation History
