Part of my Wallowa County Cemetery series.
This cemetery serves the folks that reside out in Paradise, OR. Paradise is an 'area' to live in. It is a ridge near a beautiful canyon area. The cache will take you through some farmlands where hardy farmers try to make their living (wheat harvest in October?)
The road to Paradise is not paved (except maybe with good intentions?) It is a graveled road - but not too bad. The road to the cemetery is well marked - and for an average sized rig you'll have no problems. There is an area that I used as a turnaround just past the cemetery. I'm not sure the turnaround is good for an RV sized rig. (RV'ing cachers may want to park at the corner of Paradise Road entry and hike ths short distance.
The cemetery is 'kind of' kept. You need to take a look at the plot registry at the gate - its all done in metal and etching! The cache is not hidden in the cemetery - but just outside it. It's a small 'rubbermaid knock-off.' Please shut the lid tightly - and replace it as I have placed it to give it protection against the long, and often deep snows that it will experience!
And as you take in the spot - think of the hardy souls that have worked this land! (If weather and roads are dry I highly recommend getting another cache nearby!)
