This cache is located at the original Hopkins County Girls Softball Field. You can drive within 30 feet of the cache. Follow all safety rules: no need to open electrical panels.
This cache is located at the original Hopkins County Girls Softball field and is now a Boys Baseball Field. As a youngster I spent many an hour at this field. As I look at the field now I think of the thousands of young people who came before me and after me who made life long friends and learned life long lessons. We learned lessons not only about softball or baseball but about life in general. Lessons that have helped form who we are today. So when you come to this cache and look out across the field thank the hundreds of volunteers like the Landers and the Easleys for there dedication and hard work to make a place where youth could come to play hard and learn about more than just sports. This is a log only so BYOP. Watch for muglers as this will be an active area at certain times of the year.
