Geocache Description:

A short walk from the Salt Way between Lechlade and Coln St Aldwyns.

Salt Way is the medieval trackway that was used for the transportation of salt from Cheshire to the Thames at Lechlade. From here it was taken on the Thames to London. The cache is in a little copse about a quarter of a mile from the suggested parking at N 51° 42.855 W 001° 43.236. From here you can carry on to Snowstorme Gorse (GC1HHHY) which is about half a mile further on. The area can get muddy at times so suitable footwear is advised. Please ensure that you screw the lid back on securely and hide it well.
