If you are flumoxed in Fairford and fancy a time out, take a walk to this cache.
A pleasant stroll to a cache on the edge of a small wood.
I was looking for somewhere to place a cache and saw this area called "Snowstorm Gorse" and thought with a name like that it was begging for a cache. Despite quite thorough research I haven't found out why the area is so called. If anybody knows, please let me know.
Parking is a bit of a problem for this one and the best place to park is the parking spot for Salt Way (GC1HHHD) at N 51° 42.855 W 001° 43.227, but this is the furthest to walk. There is closer parking at the end of the track at N 51° 43.054 W 001° 43.555 but it is difficult to park here without blocking a gateway. Do not park in the yard. There is no suitable parking on the A417 Lechlade - Fairford road.
Please ensure that you screw the lid back on securely and hide it well.
