Geocache Description:


Temple votif gallo-romain du 1er siècle après JC.
Il fut fouillé aux 19 et 20 ème siècles. Les objets découverts au cours de ces fouilles (pièces de monnaie, ex-voto, fibules, bagues, objets de parure) sont exposés au Musée d'art et d'archéologie de Senlis.
Le panneau indique que la première fouille a débuté en 18XX.

Gallo-roman votive temple of the 1st century AD. It was excavated in 19th and 20th century. The objects discovered over the course of the excavation (coins, votive offerings, fibulas, rings, finery) are exhibited at the Senlis Art and Archeology museum.
You can read in the forrest that the excavation began in 18XX.
