The above co-ordinates are of the house where I was born and from where it all started, near but not the cache site
The locations are from start to finish places where I lived or worked over a 18 year stint in the Royal Air Force. At these locations there are one or two clues to help you find the final. I enjoyed my travels and hope you get some pleasure in finding where on earth I was. Location 1 started my stint, 1958. Location 2 from 1960. Location 3 from 1961. Location 4 from 1962. Location 5 from 1965. Location 6 from 1968. Location 7 from 1969. Location 8 from 1971. My final location is where we lived but not where I worked. A wireless fitter, well travelled. 15 homes in 18 years. Now a mile away from where it all started. I checked these with Google Earth, If you get stuck, give it a try for exact co-ordinates. RAF Locking runway now a road so adjusted the sums to agree with the final coordinates. Now for the last bit. Carpark. north S G J U L C H east T I (5-B) D E R F P Final north S P R U L K M east I T L C T A (C+B) K These letters have been changed on 30th November 2010 due to better reception and a new GPS. It should now take you right to the spot. Have fun. These airfields and locations have changed now in 2019. Some runways have been lengthened and even some have been renumbered.
