This is one of a series of caches that are located on stretches of the original A24, in West Sussex, before they were bypassed by the modern stretches of dual carriageways. This cache is in Washington and although, like the others, it can be done as a cache and dash it is nicer to park and have a walk to the cache site while thinking of what it could have been like without the bypass to take all of the traffic that now flows along the busy A24.
