A non-nano cache located off the ground in a nice Picnic Area.
The Scandia Picnic Site was donated by the Apeslands (Stanley and Trudy) in 1983 in remembrance of his parents who originally farmed the home quarter. Their birth place / origin was Norway, came over to farm - start a new life as many did during that time.
The picnic area is a nice stop. There are picnic tables, outhouses and lots of grass to run around and play on.
You are looking for a 'non-nano cache'. It's totally doable in the winter without digging in the snow. Located 'above' the snow line.
Original contents include : log book, pencil, lots of stickers and reflector items, balls, necklace etc etc. Kid Friendly.
Please be sure to replace the cache as found so it stays up off the ground.
