A long time ago, before bald peak recieved it modern name, there were several gateways into another world located on the ling ridge. Whether that realm was the underworld or another dimension, nobody knows for sure.
One thing is for sure, the guardians of these gateways still roam the area, protecting us from evil spirits.
But that is just useless superstition, right?
