The local road you drive on to get to the start of this cache
wasn’t named “Beaver Valley Road” for nothing! If you park at the
given coordinates and follow the old road down just a couple
hundred feet, it will turn back and start heading toward the beaver
pond. Keep walking until the road turns into a path, and then comes
to the edge of the woods. At this point, you will have to climb
over a couple fallen trees and walk through some ferns to get to
the cache, but nothing too difficult.
When you get to the cache site, you will see the Beaver’s Lodge
if you look toward the wetlands! Total walk one way is probably
about .4 mi.
Note: Occasionally, we believe some people use this old logging
road for target shooting. If there is another vehicle at the gate
when you park there, be sure to keep your ears open. This is why we
added the "hunting" symbol in the attributes.
Don’t forget to find “DO NOT BLOCK GATE (Second Coming)”
(GC1HA67) and “ENROUTE TO THE BEAVER’S LODGE” (GC1HPG2) on your way
as well.
CONGRATULATIONS, PCAKES, FOR THE FTF!!!
