This will be an easy cache for most geocachers but will be a little more difficult in deeper snow. Great views of the river and a pull off area for parking for several cars.
The original cache kept getting muggled so it's a new cache a few feet from the original location.
Finally named "Centennial Park" , this is a nice little area to stop and view the river. There was another cache close by that has been discontinued due to the city upgrading this park and removing the hiding spot. I have been in contact with the owner of that former cache and he has given the green light for this new cache. There is some stone artwork here and a newly placed sitting bench honoring Bob DeLong, a long-time photographer for the Bangor Daily News.
Please, please, please be very careful when you find and remove the cache container. Be equally as careful when you rehide the container, placing it exactly where you found it. Enjoy the view!
