Geocache Description:

A nice spot to rest after hiking up from the creek....

This is a small cache placed in Hidden Falls Park, a wonderful park outside of Auburn. Information and a basic trail map are available at (visit link) . There are currently seven miles of trails in the park, and the county plans to expand the park and trail system significantly in the future.

The cache is at a spot another cacher had called Squirrel Hill. As a squirrel I could not pass up the opportunity to place one here when the previous cache had gone missing.

Given the location and beauty of this park it has received heavy usage. All of the caches I have placed are intended to minimize any need to leave the trail and impact the surroundings. This cache is a short distance off the trail due to the work being done in the area. I hope to be able to replace it with a slightly larger cache even closer to the trail after that work is complete.

Take a picnic or snack and enjoy the park and help keep it nice for others to enjoy as well!
