A micro on Morecambe's Promenade close to a piece of modern artwork titled 'Venus and Cupid' by Shane A. Johnstone. It's subtitled. 'Love, the most beautiful of absolute disasters'. Wheelchair accessible .
The cache is on an area of grassland at the entrance to the township of Morecambe. I pass by here most days on the way to work and I never ever tire of the spectacular view across Morecambe Bay to the mountains of Lakeland. In all seasons it is truely beautiful. The shore is used by thousands of wading birds taking their fill from the sand and mud of the bay.Out to sea,seals and porpoises can sometimes be seen swimming. There is parking on the Marine Road itself or at the public carpark 200m towards Morecambe where there is a tea and butty shop. The cache container is a small canister with a log sheet. It is suitable for micro geocoins only. BRING A PEN Hope you enjoy your visit to the cache location.
