Follow Me Home
I am doing a series of caches called Follow Me Home. It will be a fun road trip for those traveling on Hwy 15 in Nebraska & Northern KS. Each Cache will have a different name. Have fun!
Virginia Station - Whiskey Run
Pony Express riders and Oregan Trail emigrants used Virginia station once located near this site. Indians traded for whiskey at the station and harrassed the emigrant trains. The whiskey was dumped in a nearby creek - thus dubbing the station Whiskey Run.
