Geocache Description:

Located in a nice park in Mankato. There are many runners and walkers that enjoy this park with woodlands and wetlands.

If your GPS sends you to a geobeacon, it is probably right. There are trails that will lead you directly to the location. Park the car and enjoy the walk. There is active bow hunting in this area from October 18th to December 31st. Hunting this cache will not violate any of the rules associated with the hunting and the cache is still active during this time. Please make sure to stay on the paths as directed by the signs in the park. The park is still used for hiking and running during the day and there should be no danger. However, please remain aware of your surroundings and don't act like a deer! Stay out in the open and everything will be fine.
