Geocache Description:

A quick cache and dash located on Rt. 213 in Rifton, NY.

Perrine's Bridge was constructed by Benjamin West in about 1844, making it one of the state's oldest covered bridges.

The 154-foot bridge spans the Wallkill River, and is a Burr arch truss design.

The bridge was restored in 1993, and it is closed to vehicular traffic.

The cache is NOT accessible from I-87, so do not attempt to stop on I-87 to find the cache! You need to be on Rt. 213 to find the parking coordinates.
