Geocache Description:

Cache is located on the Red Wing Nature Trail near the intersection of routes 55 and 82 in Lagrange.
(new container and new location as of 2/14/09)

Cache is small lock n lock container. It contains a log book, two pencils, a few ziplocs (just in case), and some small toys. It has room for one or two really small travel bugs and a few geocoins. Please lock all of the locks on the container and place cache back better than it was when you arrived.

There are two areas to park: one is at the Post Office (you won't have to cross 82 but you will have to walk along it for about 100 yards-please be careful) and the other is at the firehouse (the parking area here is directly across the street from the trailhead). PLEASE BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL CROSSING ROUTE 82 if you choose this parking area. The cars will come on you quickly so please don't take any unnecessary chances. Cache is located within 20 yards of the trail.

If you have the time, please travel westward on the trail and visit "Towering Vista" cache located off of the same trail system. It is located near the cell tower that you can see from "2008: A Quartz Odyssey" It's uphill and there are some steep sections, but the views are really nice.
