Geocache Description:

Got to believe we are magic. I had forgotten how much fun night caching can be.

XANADU....Olivia Newton John and John Travolta?

Xanadu--Deja vu

Because we have moved the final to a new location, and to perpetuate fun in the woods, I am permitting second finds of this cache. If you have found it before May 1, 2009...you may find it a second time, after October 6, 2009. It is an old container in a new spot. Go for it!

Here we are wandering in the dark in Swanson Park. And we are kosher since the park is open till Midnight.

We follow the dots on the trees and bushes, we believe we are magic. Nothing gets in our way but hedgeapples and brush.

Destiny may go awry, you may get lost. If so, set a way point or two. Watch out for all kinds of hazards: mud, fallen branches, hedgeapples, deer (not just Bambi) and owls (much fiercer than Owl in Winnie the Pooh). So terrifying that they terrified the Terrible One and he almost had to be escorted out of the park. He brought "all his dreams to life."

The route wanders on and off the trails. At times it gets close to Cowskin Creek, but it never enters it. The trail is fairly long; lots of thorns to dodge, probably impassable in summer.

The final is an ammo box, with appropriate camo for the area. Inside is a substantial treasure trove since I haven't hidden an ammo box size container in several months.

Enjoy and find your own way out.

To tell the truth, I have been there three times and I am still surprised at how fiendish the cache is. Set lots of waypoints, expect to walk stooped over at times, and expect significant difficulties finding your way out.
