R.I.P #3 (Sand Run) Traditional Cache

This is our third cemetery cache and yet another holiday hide.
This cemetery's name is “Sand Run” and it is located in Young’s Bottom. It is an historic cemetery because of who is buried there. You will understand better when you arrive and read the historic marker placed by the state of WV that is close by. If you look carefully, about 200 feet from the cache spot you will find the THE headstone of this cemetery. There are also many more interesting ones to see and read as you walk about.
Please make sure to be respectful and quiet while walking around and hunting for the cache. Not only because of what it is, but because of where it is.
To get to the cache, you can park in the spot right next to the historic marker. Please do not do so on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings after 6, or Wednesday evenings after 6.
It’s a short but invigorating walk up the street to an obvious spot to enter the grounds. It is another hilly walk up till you come to the top of the cemetery. The rest of the trek is easy. Please make sure to replace the cache exactly as you found it.
