Romaine Reserve is a large and beautiful park and recreation area in the midst of Burnie's suburbs. The reserve is very popular with walkers, dog walkers and runners, and the loop track features fitness equipment. The southern part of the reserve, where the cache is located, takes you on a lovely forest trail that follows the fern-lined creek and contains many information signs about the local fauna and flora.
The cache can be accessed from either the main Romaine carpark or Mount St. The walk will take around 10-15 mins from Mount St.
Cache is a 1.5L Sistema containing logbook, pencil and swaps.
Please ensure that you re-hide the cache carefully and be wary of muggles as this track is used frequently!
Good Caching Etiquette!
Please, when you are logging this cache online, could you write more than "Found" or "TFTC". It takes a lot of time and energy to hide and maintain a geocache. Please respect the hider by taking time to write a couple of sentences about your experience, such as: whether or not you enjoyed it, what condition the cache is in, how easy or hard it was to find, etc. This would be much appreciated. Thank you!
