Geocache Description:

Close to an area of historic interest with easy access from the A6. Close to footpath with terrain.

Cache can be found close to an object that may put you in mind of Dostoevsky's 1866 novel.
Why not take time to explore the village of Hest Bank with 3 pubs serving good food and 3 other caches to find.
Please don't park on the A6 itself for safety reasons.
This cache is a small plastic box. It's initial contents have a Halloween theme and include a wind-up ghoul, halloween stickers, 2 Hannah Montana halloween cards, a Pengiun TB and Mr Explorer3's Scotland GC.
