Geocache Description:

Just off the Leeds Country Way at Manston, East Leeds. This cache replaces the long since muggled "Bens 2nd cache - Barnbow Lane pt.1." GCZQZ3. Those who found that cache can now log this one as another find as it is listed as a completely new cache but is within 200 feet of the old cache site.

The Leeds Country Way cuts through a farm here at the end of Manston lane, the cache is just off the Leeds Country Way on Barnbow Lane, a well used and pleasant bridleway. Park at the obvious parking spot on the junction of both lanes (you cannot take a car down Barnbow Lane) N 53° 48.297 W 001°24.770, these parking co-ords incidently are also a quick drive by, GCZKTD b>Bens First Cache - Manston Lane which is worth stopping for if there are not too many muggles around (this is a popular spot for drivers to eat lunch in the car etc.) The two caches are less than 0.25 miles apart. Walks in all directions can be planned from here, following the public footpath through the farm and right at the football club takes you under the motorway, through a tunnel to garforth. Alternatively you can go North from the cache continuing up Barnbow Lane to Scholes. Taking a right just after the cache on the well signposted footpath takes you West through Garforth golf club and continuing west from the golf club takes you through Parlington to Aberford. The title of this cache is such as this is a tribute to a cache west of Bradford at Chellow woods which I managed to lose, gone for good, dropped to its death... I felt so guilty about being the one who lost someone elses cache I was hoping by hiding this cache as a tribute it might take the sting out of it a bit for me... This cache is hidden in a relatively similar manner but will hopefully still surprise a few people with the design of the cache (I had to rethink the design of the cache container so that it didnt reach the same fate as the Chellow Woods cache.) Thats it folks, its simple quick and easy so get out there and sign the log, enjoy....... A hint has been provided but shouldn't really be necessary, the hide should be obvious, however log a DNF for a further clue. Please take care not to get muggled and to replace the cache exactly as found. FIRST TO FIND HONOURS GO TO LEEDS TYKE (0.7 MILES FROM HIS HOME) 1ST NOV '08
