2-Stage Multicache, located in Morris Park business park in Mint Hill, NC.
"MetLab": Short for Metrology Lab. Metrology is the science of measurement. Measurement is all about decimal precision. The more decimals to the right of the decimal, the more accurately you can measure things.
This cache is for the exchange of all items somewhat related to measurement. Different types of rulers, tape measures, compasses, protractors, levels, thermometers, calipers, etc. Use your imagination!
This is a VERY EASY 2-Stage Multicache. The first stage is a small metal container located at the listed coordinates. The second stage is a short walk away at the coordinates listed in the first stage's container.
The final container is large enough to hold a 12" ruler and is about 4"deep. This is a perfect cache to hold travel bugs in addition to the measurement-related swapping items.
Note : Do not go messing around with the landscaping. The caches are not there. They are not near a tree either.
The best time to avoid muggles is over the weekend and in the evening! Avoid trying to find this over the lunch hour - lots of people around coming and going!
