This is both a normal Geocache and a Confluence Point.
There are only 5 stars available for terrain, but we feel this
ought to have 7 or 8. You should bring suitable footwear for
climbing steep hill, and gloves to protect from pine needles. You
could also bring your skis or toboggan for the return down to your
car, but that is optional. Please bring a pencil to log your
visit.
Suggested parking at N35°00.037 E032°59.977, or N34°59.925

Now you may ask yourselves, what is this Confluence Point. A
confluence is defined as a flowing together; a meeting place (often
of rivers). In our case a degree confluence is the exact spot where
an integer degree of latitude and an integer degree of longitude
meet, such as 35°00'00"N 33°00'00"E. The project uses the WGS84
datum to define the confluence location. It is an organized
sampling of the world. There is a confluence within 49 miles (79
km) of you if you're on the surface of Earth. Confluences in the
oceans and some near the poles are discounted, but there are still
10,804 to be found.
If you want to log your visit on the confluence site,
http://confluence.org, have a look at their rules. For instance,
they expect you to submit 4 photos from the confluence, taken in
the four cardinal compass directions (north, south, east, west) and
one of the general area taken within 100 meters of the confluence,
(no people or belongings included). In addition, take one photo of
your GPS showing the WGS84 position.
If you don't want to do that, no matter, just start looking for
the cache and good luck.
We have caches in the two confluence points situated on Cyprus dry
land. The other one is at 35°00'00"N 34°00'00"E. There are a couple
more confluence points in the sea as well, but we didn't like
getting our feet wet. When you have found both the dry ones, send
us a photo of yourselves taken at those points. Unlike the
confluence.org we like people.
The cache includes the normal FTF Certificate and a scratch card
lottery ticket, which we hope will enable you to buy some Band Aid
for the scratches incurred.
