Geocache Description:

The 13th floor is considered an unlucky place to spend the night. To help break that jinx, I've placed this TB hotel here as an easy find to people traveling by. This should be a quick easy find in the east-bound rest area on I-96 at about mile marker 87, north of Grand Ledge. Hopefully it will give you a break and a bit of fun while on the road.

The cache is an ammo box, hidden several hundred feet (depending on your route) back in the woods behind the rest stop. It's a great cache for cachers who are passing through, as well as locals. Please trade even for TBs if you can. I won't make that a hard and fast rule, but I will depend on the good nature of cachers to try to keep something here for the next person. However, there is also some other loot here, so if you don't have a TB or coin, you may still find something of interest. Use a bit of care when searching for this. While the cache IS located on the grounds of the rest area, it is near private land, and there is a deer hunter's tree stand located nearby, to the south of the cache. Be alert when looking for this cache during hunting season in November and December. Also, the mowed area near the parking lot is sometimes used by people walking their dogs. You probably don't have to worry as much about this hazard once you're in the woods, though. Please hide the as well as possible, so that muggles don't find it, and other cachers have the fun of discovering it on their own.
