Tuturau Bay is a small Bay to the south of Kawakawa bay.
Follow the coastal road round past the Boat ramps to its end at Waiti Bay where you will find a carpark and basic amenities.
Whilst your maps may show a road heading all the way to Tuturau Bay, this is a private road and has a locked gate at the top of the hill.
It is a short rock hop around the point from here, but make sure you know what the tides are doing or you may be stranded for some time.
There are a few houses in the bay, make sure you check out the batch on the hill, you can get a good view of it by following the track past the cache a short distance.
Waiti Bay can be very busy in summer and parking may be a problem, Tuturau Bay on the otherhand is usually much quieter. The cache is placed out of sight of the bay itself so there should be no problems finding it at any time.
If you are feeling energetic you can continue on from here to Tawhitokino Beach, and ultimately Orere Point. (tracked)
There is good rock fishing to be had from the point just south of the beach as well.
