Ein schöner versteckter Ort nahe Dorndorf
Ein cache in einer Gegend, an der man sonst vorbeifährt. Im Sommer
besonders schön, hat der Ort aber auch in anderen Jahreszeiten
seinen Reiz. Der cache ist Familiengerecht, aber trotzdem sollten
die Eltern ein Auge auf den Nachwuchs haben. Am Besten man fährt in
den Ort Dorndorf, um dann nach der Kirche die Haupstr. nach links
zu verlassen und in die Westerwaldstr. abbzubiegen. Von der
Westerwaldstr, geht die Hubertusstr. ab. Auf dieser Straße fährt
man bis zum Ortsende und kann dort parken. (N50.29.957 -
E008.00.175) Von dort aus kann man noch ca.150m weiter gehen, bis
man zu einer Eiche mit einer Sitzbank kommt. (N50.29.853 -
E008.00.250) Wer bis hierhin gefahren ist, findet auch hier einen
Parkplatz auf einem Wiesenweg. (Startpunkt) Jetzt geradezu auf die
linke Seite der Bäume zugehen, dort befindet sich ein breiter Weg,
auch wenn es vom Startpunkt nicht so aussieht. Diesen Weg einfach
weitergehen. Er wird kurz vor dem Ziel unterbrochen. (Erdrutsch) Am
besten nimmt man den kleinen Trampelpfad der rechts nach oben
führt. Nach 20m ist man wieder auf dem Weg. Ich empfehle
ausdrücklich diesen Weg, weil man sonst über viele Gräben muss! Den
cache zu finden sollte kein Problem für den Durchschnittscacher
sein. Im Sommer sind manchmal dort jugendliche muggels unterwegs,
bitte den cache wieder gut tarnen, bzw. die Fussspuren verwischen.
Da es unser erster cache ist, bekommt er natürlich auch eine gute
Erstaustattung! Und nun viel Spass an diesem schönen Ort. Buel A

parents should always watch their children It is best to drive thru
Dorndorf, shortly after the church, leave the main street and turn
left into Westerwaldstr. After a few hundred feet, turn into the
Hubertusstr. Use this street until you have reached the end of
Dorndorf (N50.29.957 - E008.00.175) You may park your car here.
Walking about 150m downhill, you will be reaching the
start-coordinates. It all starts from an small oaktree. (N50.29.853
- E008.00.250) If you drove your car to this place, you may park
your car on a meadowtrail. Now start walking straight ahead to the
left corner of the trees. There is a nice path starting right here,
even if you dont see it from the startpoint. Follow this path.
shortly before reaching the destination, it is blocked by a small
landslide. I recommend to use the small trail to the right. After
20m (60f) you will be on the trail again. I highly recommend to use
the path otherwise you have to cross deep ridges. To find the cache
should be no problem for the average geocacher. During summertime
an few young muggels may enjoy this area. Please be so kind and
camouflage the hiding place. i.e. to cover the tracks.Have fun and
